My first real foray into synthwave is an ode to the 1985 mecha anime, Zeta Gundam. Zeta started off as a much shorter, looped piece I'd written for a video game but I decided I liked it enough to expand on the idea. It just so happened I was working on it at around the same time I was watching the 2005 Zeta Gundam movie trilogy.
