Our first full length player for the year sees the return of Cypher Sanctuary, an artist who first burst onto our original releases imprint in 2020. “Crypto Sunrise” feature more of the trademark combination of field recordings, neural networks tinkering and dark wave DIY, mixed with Cypher’s relentlessly pounding beats and hypnotic rhythms bathed in the broken neon aura of eastern bloc hyper-stylized techno that we just can’t refuse. But it's the moments of acute introspection amongst the chaos that beckon us in the first place to the projects of Cypher Sanctuary. Tracks like Dodge Roll, Algorythm, and (the Drexciyan-esque) Residential Proxy are a balm between the teeth grinding soulless computer techno of Neon Love and Ultimate Triangle.
