As the close of 2014 fast approaches, Compatible Music signs off with a bang. The label's sixth release comes courtesy of label head Sebastian Markiewicz, who returns to his imprint with the driving, progressive cut 'Receiver'. An uplifting slice of house with a gripping fusion of melody and low-slung energy, the track is destined for peak-time dancefloors. Confute joins the label on remix duties, taking a deeper, more twisted approach. The track adopts some of the originals trippy, melodic underbelly while forging a darker, techier introduction. Confute pays homage to the fantastic energy of the original with a reminder of it's lead synth at the break, before stripping things back again to devastating effect.
