Camela - El calor de mi cuerpo

I really need to post something from this band on this blog. Right now, this song belongs to me too, because it makes me feel something. And as you can see, I've started to talk about shit, this is bull shit speaking, because I don't know what I whant to say. I've provably noticed that I never wrote something in English before. But I like to do stupid things, and set them free to the world! It's my contribution to humanity! Today I'm feeling more Terremonto than ever!

Well, the point is that I really like this song. I've always thought that Camela is the unique band that plays some sort of Synthpop made in Spanish, in Spanish and that reflects somehow some piece of the Spanish culture! Don't you think so? That's it! They don't pick up a foreign style and then try to make it up to fit the Spanish market, as most of the other musicians do. They just play some music, the one that they want, and use the instruments and style that they want. ¡Y punto!

It's true.
But the Camela's lyrics are full of tragedy and passion, a mix of the latin culembron glamour with the neo-romantic and self -destruction poetry... it's really personal folklore de cada uno.

It's good to read you! :D
I agree! Camela's lyrics are tremebundas! And all of them are absolutely mono-thematic.

Kisses!
